Anything But Par for the Course
Luxury home plans
All new construction with a very interesting beginning. Originally the client used our services for an inspection and consultation on their previous home. After assessing the families living needs and the cost to benefit for renovations, repairs and additions it was decided they should build new. One year later the client secured a beautiful property abutting a premier golf course and engaged our services for the design and construction consulting. Given that the client has a degree in design it was a pleasure to work on this project. Because the client was to act as the general contractor a special team of subcontractors was assembled.
A major factor in the design was building on the site with minimal impact on the existing trees and land. The interior space basically consists of three bedrooms, three and one half baths, family area, living dinning, kitchen with pantry, office. Primary finishes are cork flooring, Jatoba hardwood trim and cabinets, marble and tile. The end result was the creation of lovely well balanced home nestled quietly in the trees with stunning views of the adjacent golf course. The team of contractors functioned beautifully and budgets were adhered to. Images © Tom Becker interior decorating Jodi McDonough.
